D. Jack Stinchfield
Experience and Knowledge
I am married and have one daughter, one son and daughter-in-law, two grand daughters and a grandson.
I attended and graduated from San Jose State University with a BS degree with a Real Estate emphasis and with honors.
My first job out of college was to help set up and ultimately manage the Real Estate Owned Department of one of the largest Savings & Loan Association in Northern California.
My lending career continued when I accepted the position of Chief Appraiser and Loan Officer with a small Savings and Loan in my home town of Atascadero, California. This firm subsequently merged with Century Federal Savings and Loan Association of Santa Monica. With the new entity, created by the merger, I held the position of Vice President and Central California Loan Manager.
Upon leaving the Savings and Loan industry, I founded the private money lending firm, Stinchfield Financial Inc. Stinchfield Financial Inc. was a company that accepted monies from individuals who wanted to participate in direct lending in the real estate market and thereby receive a greater return than more traditional investments might offer. In 1994, I sold Stinchfield Financial Inc.
In addition, in 1985 I became a Founding Director in a local Community Bank which had 4 branches in the Central Coast Area of California and subsequently merged with a larger banking institution.
My past civic accomplishments include: 1st chairman of the Colony Days Celebration, Chairman of the Committee to study the feasibility of Incorporation of Atascadero, past president of the Paso Robles Board of Realtors, past president of the Rotary Club of Atascadero, and past Treasure of the Atascadero Veteran's Memorial Foundation.
I am currently a Founding Director of Escuela Del Rio (school for the mentally disabled), member and past board member of the Atascadero Elks, past President of the Rotary Club of Atascadero, present member of the Rotary Club of Paso Robles, and member of the Paso Robles and Atascadero Associations of Realtors.
